Meal AI · iPhone
Point it at your
fridge.
Photograph what is in your kitchen. Claude reads the ingredients, and every recipe comes back scored against what you actually have — not what a blog decided was trending.

Confirm
It tells you what it was unsure about.
A scan comes back as a proposal, not a result. Anything the model could see but could not confidently name is separated out under "Worth a check," with the reason it hesitated written next to it — "yellow citrus, shape unclear at angle." You tick it or you correct it.
- Uncertain items are held back, never guessed
- Each one says why it was uncertain
- Tick to accept, or edit to correct

Match
Scored, not recommended.
Every recipe carries a ring measured against your actual shelves — green at full, amber as it slips. "You have everything" is a claim the app can back, and "Missing 1 item" tells you exactly how far off you are before you commit to cooking.
- A real match score, not a popularity rank
- Ingredients ticked off against your pantry
- What you still need to pick up, listed separately

Constrain
Allergies are left off entirely.
Nine allergens and nine diets, set once. Allergens are never substituted or adapted around — recipes containing them are simply never suggested. Diets apply to every suggestion before it is generated, rather than filtering a list afterwards.
- Allergens excluded, not worked around
- Nine diets, applied before generation
- Set once, honoured everywhere

The rest of it
Your kitchen, kept honest.
Everything a scan added, with quantities and brands where it could read them. A running count of what is on hand, what needs using, and what is still worth a check. And the shortlist of what you could cook tonight without going out.
